GSG creates custom proprietary programs that connect brands and companies to an authentic cause (State Parks) and community of active lifestyle, health conscious, environmentally concerned consumers (State Park Visitors).

GSG was created in 2003 by experienced corporate marketers who understand brand and experiential marketing, and have a passion for the active lifestyle. Since then, their work has provided over $4 million in cash and services for America’s State Parks, and earned significant business results for our clients.

Through our contractual exclusive partnerships with State Park agencies, GSG provides unique, targeted marketing and advertising programs to corporate marketers. These programs utilize our broad spectrum of consumer touchpoints and can be national or regional in scope.

We call State Parks “America’s Backyard” because 85% of them are within 50 miles of an urban area, and they are where Americans recreate. There are over 2,500 state parks in the United States, which receive 730 million visits per year (compared to 274 million visits to National Parks). State Parks are where Americans run, hike, bike, ride ATVs, boat, camp, surf, swim, picnic, fish, kayak, climb, and just hang out with their families! State Parks encompass some of our greatest iconic treasures, including Hearst Castle, Niagara Falls, the California Redwoods, Big Bend, Daytona Beach, Adirondak Park, Galveston Island, Jones Beach, Historic Old Town San Diego, Huntington Beach and many more!

State park visitors are highly active, environmentally conscious, primarily families, and they are also higher income and higher education than the rest of the U.S. Park visitors are passionate about their parks and visit on average 3.4 times per year.
